CoolNew is manufactured by changing the shape of spinneret and applying theology of polymer to produce fiber with slits on the surface. With crisscross sections, the fill rate of CoolNew is about 60-80%, and its specific surface area increases 40-50% compared to circular cross section PET, so CoolNew is provided with high capillary effect, excellent air permeability, and smaller contact area with skin to increase its comfort performance.
