Currently there is no uniform standard for the classification of the superfine fiber, generally, the fineness of 0.55~1.4dtex (0.5~1.3 filament) is called the fine denier filament, the fineness of 0.33~0.55dtex is called superfine fiber filament, the fineness of 0.11~0.33dtex is called ultra-fine denier filament.
Product Performance:
The average difference of the filament number is small, the length uniformity ratio is good, and the dry strength is 2.1CN/dtex or more. Its other indicators are better than cotton viscose fiber; the external precision is high, no color difference, splash, stain, feculence or peculiar smell. The texture of the product is soft, exquisite, smooth, and gentle. The specific surface area of the superfine fiber is large with high clean capability; it can be used as a water absorption material (e.g. towel or facial tissue). And the superfine fiber can be used to produce artificial silk face fabric, high density water proof and permeable fabrics, peach down fabric and artificial deerskin face fabric.
Application:
It’s mainly used in the traditional spinning industry, pure spinning or blended spinning with polyester. Compared with the ordinary cotton product, the yarn product fiber count and strength are high, the strands are average. The face fabric made of this fiber has advantages of lightness, thinness, low gram weight, high strength, abrasion resistance, soft feel, drape resistance, transformation resistance, water absorption, air permeability and static resistance. It is applicable to produce underwear and clothes for infants and children. |
