PTT filament
It is excellent hot plastic modified polyester made by melting and spinning the SoronaTMpolymer(polytrimethylene terephthalate) of DuPont.
PTT has the advantages of the polyester, polypropylene and nylon. It has following features:
(1) It has very good elasticity, and a natural, soft, cotton-like feel.
(2) Because its natural molecular weight, no coating or processing is required, it has good chemical resistance, stain resistance, low water absorption and no color fading.
(3) It is wash resistant, suppleness and size are stable.
(4) It has good elasticity restoration performance, its elasticity is better than the polyamide fiber, it can return to the original shape immediately.
(5) Because its glass temperature is low, when no carries is applied, it can be dyed under the normal pressure and in boiling water. The dyeing effect is very good, the dyeing rate is high, the even dyeing performance is good, and it has good color fastness and sunshine fastness.
(6)As a kind of engineered plastic, it not only has the strength, toughness and heat resistance of the PET, but also has the processing advantages of the PBT, and keeps the basic advantages such as the stable size, electric insulation and chemistry resistance of the PET.
(7) Permanent press: it retains the advantage of the dacron
(8) Ultraviolet and chlorine resistance: exposing it to ultraviolet radiation or a chlorine environment, it still keeps its rich colors.
The use of PPT
(1) It can be used for straitjacket, underwear, sports wear, suit and swim-suit
(2) It can be used for carpeting, indoor decoration and medical nonwoven fabric.
(3) By blending with natural fabrics such as wool and cotton to improve the comfort and elasticity of the fabric, the assortment of the face fabric can be improved.
(4) Processing various thermoplastic engineering plastics for electronics, electrical, automobile components and furniture.
